Anna Nery FPSO : Dutch firm Royal IHC bags contract from Yinson

Royal IHC has bagged a contract from Malaysian FPSO provider Yinson for a tandem mooring and offloading system and a riser pull-in system to be used by the Anna Nery floating production, storage and offloading vessel (Anna Nery FPSO).

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed by the Dutch maritime service provider.

The Anna Nery FPSO will be used for the Marlim revitalization project to be taken up by Petrobras, nearly 150 kilometres off the Brazilian coast. The FPSO, which will be installed in a water depth of 930 meters in the Campos Basin, will have a production capacity of 70,000 barrels of oil and four million cubic metres of gas per day.

The production start-up of Anna Nery FPSO is slated for the years 2022 and 2023, and the units will be operated and chartered for a period of 25 years.

According to Royal IHC, its innovative design for the offloading and riser pull-in system minimizes the space required on board for storage. The Dutch maritime service provider said that it has delivered more than 20 turnkey systems of this type across the world.
