DOF Subsea bags contracts for Skandi Seven and Skandi Skansen vessels

DOF Subsea has bagged a couple of contracts in Africa, totaling over 160 vessel days for its Skandi Seven construction support vessel and Skandi Skansen anchor handling tug supply vehicle.

According to the Norwegian subsea operating company, Skandi Seven has started operations in Angola for a repeat customer, which is a global energy company. The offshore construction support vessel is providing integrated FSV services, project management, and engineering.

DOF Subsea said that it will deliver onshore and offshore work scopes during the contract within deep-water field development and maintenance duties for the existing subsea infrastructure.

The Skandi Skansen anchor handling tug supply vehicle, on the other hand, will shortly begin mobilization in the North Sea to execute a mooring refurbishment and installation project for a major client in Ghana, said DOF Subsea. The anchor handling tug supply vehicle will carry out a range of mooring activities in water depths up to 1000m.

DOF Subsea CEO Mons Aase said that he is very pleased with the contract awards, which boost the company’s presence in strategically key areas in the winter season.
